Aeon Winds
Aeon Winds needs no introduction, having been a household name in the underground for many years. Formed in 2007, these pioneers and veterans have quickly established themselves as one of the leaders of the Slovakian scene. Characterized by distinctive melodies, combined with majestic, anthemic keyboards, the band deliver a highly captivating, atmospheric black metal. With a well-balanced mix of ethereal, symphonic atmospheres and aggression, the band creates an intense musical experience reminiscent of early Emperor and Limbonic Art, without being a mere pale copy. Mature, thoughtful compositions and atmospheres have enabled the band to avoid this pitfall and stand out from the crowd. Their work is of undeniable quality and has led to collaborations with bands such as Troll and Midnight Odyssey.
Always imbued with a dark, emotional atmosphere and deeply rooted in Slovakian folklore, Aeon Winds immerses listeners in the ancient history of the Carpathians and Slavic mythology, expressed particularly through metaphors and lyrical images.
